Hooleys commenced trading in 1922 using horse drawn vehicles for general cartage. As they were asked by local people to remove furniture locally they soon became known as the local mover.

Later with the arrival of the motor vehicle, removals and storage became their main business and slowly general haulage was phased out.

Hooleys has always traded from the Wilmslow & Cheadle areas as they still do today. Most of the work undertaken is generally by recommendation from people who have been moved by Hooleys. Removals are carried out both locally and nationally using our own staff and vehicles.

Hooleys are members of the British Association of Removals and The National Guild of Removers and Storers.
